The Video Editor / Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for creating engaging visual content through high-quality video editing, motion graphics and visual storytelling. The role involves producing digital content that aligns with the brand’s creative direction, enhances communication impact and delivers strong audience engagement across social and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Edit and assemble raw footage into refined, high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, advertisements, reels, events and promotional materials.
  2. Design and animate advanced motion graphics, including titles, lower thirds, infographics, typography animations, transitions and visual effects that elevate the content.
  3. Collaborate closely with creative, content and marketing teams to conceptualize video ideas, develop storyboards, and translate concepts into strong visual narratives.
  4. Ensure visual and brand consistency across all media by adhering to brand guidelines related to color palettes, typography, tone and overall aesthetic.
  5. Simultaneously manage multiple video projects, maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Stay current with industry trends, evolving editing styles, motion design techniques, digital storytelling formats and platform-specific content styles.
  7. Optimize video content for various digital platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites, ensuring correct aspect ratios, compression and formatting.
  8. Handle complete post-production tasks, including audio mixing, sound design, voice-over syncing, color correction/grading, transitions and final exports.
  9. Maintain and organize a structured archive of assets, raw footage, project files, templates, sound effects and graphic elements for efficient retrieval and reuse.
  10. Contribute creative ideas to enhance the brand’s visual presence and propose innovative video concepts for upcoming campaigns.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  1. Video Editing Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  2. Motion Graphics & Animation: Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender (optional but preferred)
  3. Graphic Design Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
  4. Sound Design Tools: Audition or similar audio software
  5. Color Grading Skills: Familiarity with Lumetri Color or DaVinci Color Panels
  6. Strong understanding of formats, codecs, frame rates and export settings
  7. Knowledge of camera settings, lighting basics and cinematography principles (preferred)

  1. Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, composition and visual rhythm
  2. Eye for design, color theory, typography and layout
  3. Ability to interpret briefs and convert them into compelling visuals

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Multimedia, Animation, Visual Communication, Media Studies or a related field
  2. 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics
  3. Portfolio or showreel showcasing a strong command over video editing and animation
  4. Experience in creating content for brands, agencies, or digital marketing teams
